Hello friends,
Welcome to the spring season! We hope you and yours are happy, healthy and as excited as we are for longer days and warmer weather!
Spring News

Expanding Programs
CLT continues to expand its programmatic and outreach efforts to ensure we are not only helping those currently living with us, but providing a positive impact on everyone in our community. We have recently hired a number of new positions including a new Housing Outreach and Support Specialist, and a Bilingual Lawrence Based Mental Health Counselor. As we continue to expand, roles continue to open and info on these positions and how to apply can be found on our website here!

All Staff Training
All Staff trainings have been ongoing these past few months at CLT. This time around we send our thanks to Mike and Gracie from Health Resources in Action for facilitating incredibly useful trainings on Addressing Drug-Related Stigma and Bias for all of our staff. The trainings empowered staff with the language and tools to break down the stigma around drug use, and gave us all an opportunity to confront and challenge our own biases.

Art Therapy Continues
Due to its ongoing demand, our Boston-based Mental Health Counselor, Melinda, has continued hosting the #ArtTherapy sessions for residents. On top of group and one-on-one therapy sessions, Melinda says “residents are really enjoying the weekly Art/Music Therapy groups and are currently working on a ‘rock garden’ to display in the near future!”
Groups started small with around 2 residents, but have grown to 6-7 people participating on weekly basis. We are excited to see what other creations residents come up with, and are happy that their space can be decorated with something they can take pride in!
Check out these special Valentine’s Day themed crafts residents worked on!
As always, we would also like to express our ongoing gratitude to CLT’s supporters, community partners, donors, and more who have helped us in big and small ways to house and support individuals experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity throughout Massachusetts.
We hope our work continues to inspire you to support us. Join in the cause by donating to our general fund today! Your tax refundable gift goes a long way to help us provide the best support we can to Greater Boston’s most vulnerable families.
