| A New Year’s Message from Our CEO As we close out an extraordinary 2025, I am filled with gratitude and pride for all that we have accomplished together. This year, our CLT community showed incredible dedication, compassion, and resilience. Because of your partnership, we expanded our impact, strengthened support for residents, and continued building pathways to stability and hope. Looking ahead, 2026 is already shaping up to be a year of meaningful progress. Our momentum from the past year keeps us energized and excited to expand housing opportunities where they are most needed. Thank you for believing in our mission. Together, we will make 2026 our strongest year yet. –Iva |
![]() WINTER WALK 2026 IS THREE WEEKS AWAY! Walk With Us JOIN US at the 10th (!) annual Winter Walk on Sunday, February 8, 2026 from 10:00am-12:00pm at Boston Common. Why Winter Walk Matters Each February, as the biting cold grips Boston, thousands of individuals come together for the Winter Walk—an inspiring annual event raising awareness and funds to end homelessness. This year, we’re proud to be a full, official partner and grantee! Together, housed and unhoused community members will walk side by side, demonstrating a shared commitment to addressing homelessness and reducing stigma. Why We Walk Winter Walk is more than just a two-mile trek through Boston’s iconic streets. It’s a call to action, a day of solidarity, and a platform to elevate the voices of those with lived experiences of homelessness. We walk because everyone deserves a safe and decent place to live. We walk because the barriers to ending homelessness—lack of affordable housing, access to healthcare, and job training—can be overcome with awareness, advocacy, and action. And we walk because change is possible when communities unite. We Can’t Do It Without You This is our first year as a partner and grantee of the Winter Walk. We need to raise $10,000 and register 100 people to attend the event. Whether you join us in person or walk virtually in your own community, your participation is a vital part of the solution. We can’t do it without you! Register to Walk Donate to CLT’s Walk Fund |

| Celebrating Our Newest Development On November 19, 2025, CLT proudly celebrated another major milestone: the ribbon cutting at our newest supportive housing development on Warren Street in Dorchester– an event that also marked 40 years of CLT’s impact across Massachusetts. The celebration brought together city and state officials, partner organizations, funders, residents, and community members to honor the power of supportive housing and the strength of collaboration. Speakers from across the housing ecosystem joined CLT leadership in reflecting on the importance of deeply affordable, community-rooted housing. Neighborhood voices and resident stories added powerful depth, reminding us of the human meaning behind every home we create. The event concluded with a ceremonial ribbon cutting, followed by music, food, tours, and time spent building community. “This milestone reflects decades of CLT’s dedication to ensuring everyone has a safe place to call home,” said Iva Comey, President & CEO. “The Warren Street development exemplifies our mission, and we are proud to celebrate 40 years of housing stability and community impact.” Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a meaningful success! We look forward to the next 40 years of this work. |
Nearly 20,000 of our neighbors in Massachusetts are unhoused—and this number is likely an undercount. Together, we can take action to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring. Visit our Facebook page for resources, information, and ways to get involved. |
