 Dear Friends and Partners, It’s a new year and a new season— time for our next Winter Walk. For those who don’t know, Winter Walk is Boston’s biggest annual event to raise awareness (and money) for homelessness. This year, we were selected by the WW team as a partner for the event! We’re so proud to be a part of this. But we only access Winter Walk funds if we raise $10,000 ourselves. If we hit $10,000, we get those donations to CLT plus a share of the much larger Winter Walk fundraising total. If we do not hit $10,000, we miss out. Walk With Us Why Winter Walk Matters Each February, as the biting cold grips Boston, thousands of individuals come together for the Winter Walk—an inspiring annual event raising awareness and funds to end homelessness. This year, we’re proud to be a full, official partner and grantee! Together, housed and unhoused community members will walk side by side, demonstrating a shared commitment to addressing homelessness and reducing stigma. Why We Walk Winter Walk is more than just a two-mile trek through Boston’s iconic streets. It’s a call to action, a day of solidarity, and a platform to elevate the voices of those with lived experiences of homelessness.We walk because everyone deserves a safe and decent place to live. We walk because the barriers to ending homelessness—lack of affordable housing, access to healthcare, and job training—can be overcome with awareness, advocacy, and action. And we walk because change is possible when communities unite. We Can’t Do It Without You This is our first year as a partner and grantee of the Winter Walk. We need to raise $10,000 and register 100 people to attend the event. Whether you join us in person or walk virtually in your own community, your participation is a vital part of the solution.
